Continuing to provide a shelter to neocons, The Washington Post publishes a foolish piece of disinformation by Gary Wasserman saying that there is no such thing as the Israel lobby, and that American Jews don’t feel loyalty to Israel. The author argues that the government’s case against the AIPAC lobbyists, now dropped, reflected anti-Semitism. And the Israel lobby– which the Post continues to fail to describe to its readers honestly (I’m sure they’re bashing the health insurers as a powerful lobby this week)– is a conspiracy theory.

I agree that American Jews are patriotic Americans who love and are loyal to America. It is wrong to accuse them of serving Israeli interests over American interests.
ReplyDeleteSorry anand your all inclusive "American Jews" is a piece of unmitigated horse shit, no one accused all Jews of dual loyalty, only a some fall under this category. Just like I could say that all Indians are ignorant worthless, servile lackeys of power, and pieces of shit like you, but that would not be true.
ReplyDeleteYou need to cease the conflation of "everyone and everything," you do this when you make groundless points of disagreement or agreement. Thinking you can slip words in like the god damn sneaky son of a bitch you see yourself to be, you are absolutely worthless trash. I address you likr this because you deserve to be addressed like this, it is a perfect description of your odious position.
In the same vein, your confounding of AIPAC with all Jews is also implied by your post, go fuck yourself turd - it is not even a majority.
ReplyDeleteI oppose AIPAC which in my view is advocating policies that are against American and Israeli and Palestinian interests.
ReplyDeleteThis said, American Jews rock!!!!!!!!!!! Many of them would back the Palestinians to the hilt if only they knew the Palestinian perspective.
Hello all you happy people.
ReplyDeleteWow, I've been away (from here) for a while, only to come back and still find the single-celled amoeba anand spewing brainless idiocies (for what else would a single-celled amoeba spew?) and V valliantly trying to maintain his sanity by rebuking him. It's like nothing has changed in the past, oh, 2-3 months.
Sheesh.
Well, at least Molly is back on the roster.
That was me.
ReplyDeleteAbe, a lot has changed in the last 2 to 3 months. For one thing, natural gas prices (UNG ticker symbol) have dropped. TRE seams like an attractive buy at the moment.
ReplyDeleteAnd Abe, you would actually like American Jews too, if you ever opened up to them.
TGIA, consider posting this:

Hamas fought Al Qaeda yesterday. Go Hamas!
<span><span>
""We belong to al-Qaeda and our leader is Osama Bin Laden," said Musa, considered the leader of Gaza's Salafi branch. The gunfight took place near a Rafah mosque and both sides were making use of mortar fire during the battle. Musa's followers later left the mosque and took positions around it."
</span></span>
Hamas is doing the world a large service. The friends of Hamas need to publicize this. There is no better reason for America to reach out to Hamas than this.
OK fish brain, when Iraq was attacked was there any AQ present in Iraq? NO. However, they showed up later in the process of the destruction. Has there been any AQ until lets say recently among the Palestinians? NO. Not until the almost complete destruction, division created, among the Palestinian people. Now, that should teach you something you insufferable turd, but it does not - because you are a stupid ass.
ReplyDeleteV, I wasn't talking about Iraq. V, word precision matters. There <span style="text-decoration: underline;">were</span> AQ linked networks in Iraq, Egypt, Yemen, KSA, Pakistan, and many other countries. I think what you meant to say but didn't is that powerful parts of the Saudi, Pakistani, Yemani (maybe even Egyptian) establishments backed Al Qaeda linked networks more than Saddam did. This would be a correct statement in my opinion. Iraq was not attacked because of AQ linked networks but because the stupid Saddam tried to kill Papa Bush and Laura in 1993 in Kuwait. It wasn't business, strictly personal to invert a GodFather quote.
ReplyDeleteAl Qaeda linked networks, Zawahiri and OBL were deeply anti Shia and anti Iran. This is why they killed the Shia in Gilgit Kashmir in 1988, and the Shia Hazara and Iranians in Mazar e Sharif in 1998. Saddam used the anti Shia AQ linked groups whose emir was Osama Bin Laden in his campaign against Iran.
Lashkar e Jhanvi and Sipah-e-Sahaba are two groups that declared Osama Bin Laden their emir (leader) in 1998, that Saddam used against his Iranian and Shia enemies. Saddam also used the AQ linked Ansar al Islam against Iran, the Shia and the Kurds.
Remember V, Al Qaeda linked networks were attacking many countries around the world before 9/11, including Indonesia, Phillipines, Thailand, China, Russia, Dagastan, the Stans, Iran, India, Pakistani Shia, just to cite a few examples.
Have you forgotten the twin attacks on the World Trade Center in NY, and the bombing of the Mumbai sky crapers that shut down the Mumbai stock market for a week, in 1993?
Al Qaeda always represented a major threat to the Palestinian people. Hamas' willingness to fight them over many years has impressed me.
V, I am <span style="text-decoration: underline;">"praising"</span> Hamas. I am surprised that you find that objectionable. Do you dislike Hamas so much that you can't see redeamable value in Hamas?
ReplyDeleteAnand. You might find this interesting.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Abe...WAZUP?
ReplyDeleteListen carefully to me putz, AQ does not come to prominance except when it is given an opening by US and other policy. There might be seeds of any group anywhere, it is when instability is introduced on a grand scale that extremism rears its head. That is what you cannot get through that thick skull of yours, you stir up trouble and it will come. Current policies are meant to inflame groups like AQ so that military oprions can be employed big scale, and hence control in all areas of th lives of people in these regions can be exploited as well as the resources that are coveted. AQ was nothing NOTHING and would have died an ignoble death if it were not for the designs of th Euro/American alliance. All of the prisons, and the herding of innocent people into Guantanamo was to make it look worldwide and BIG, it was not.

Thanks Mara. I do find it interesting. There have been many papers on this subject. The developing world increasingly has pockets of excellence that are competing successfully in the most technologically sophisticated and value added parts of the global economy. I don't want to overstate it. So far this is only happening in relatively small pockets of China, Bombay and Hyderabad; but it is promising none the less. ;)

ReplyDeleteI have been quite impressed by how more value added services are now being exported from Brazil and Mexico. Brazil now manufactures some of the best qualtity aviation in the world. Brazil is also doing well in cutting edge 2nd (cellolosic) and 3rd generation (Algae and bacteria) biofuel R&D.

However, you delight in this bullshit, the more blood that is spilt the better you feel. You must have some big investments in blood industry, and when you couple that with your pea brain "perceptions" (if you could call it that) it is the sniveling, scraping, and groveling garbage that you espouse that is ultimately destructive of humanity.
Technology is only the veneer of what takes place in the world, only idiots get captured by the exterior and miss the core. For you idiots they only have to recycle what is taking place every third generation so you forget, and that is because you are deprived of real information in any present arena. Every generation they recycle idiots like you that cling to the tripe while the only ones who advance are the few, you either open your eyes or your are completely hopeless and worthless.

ReplyDeleteV, are you arguing that we haven't had technological innovation in recent years and decades?   Technological innovation or productivity drives almost everything. It is the cause of living standards over time.
ReplyDeleteV, why do Takfiri kill many more muslims than nonmuslims? Why have they killed hundreds of thousands of muslims. Do you have any explanations that make any sense?
ReplyDeleteWhy were so many tens of thousands of Iraqis killed in terrorist attacks by Takfiri scum? Why were over a hundred thousand Algerian civilians killed by Takfiri extremist scum?
And as usual, you are a fucking idiot anand
ReplyDeleteEnough BS anand...
