The Lebanese President is right; his country has seen only good from Iran. While Israel was getting free jet fuel and free DU and phosphorus bombs, missiles and cluster bombs airlifted from the US to continue its bombing of Lebanon, Iran was sending hundreds of millions to provide rent money for temporary dwellings for the 20,000 families that had their homes destroyed and more hundreds of millions to rebuild their homes and bridges. A few weeks back, the Emir of Qatar visited Bint Jbail and other south Lebanon towns that Qatari money had graciously rebuilt after Israel's destruction and the Iranian President's visit to the rebuilt towns, roads and bridges to give a chance to the locals to thank him for it is not different. The Iranian President will go there, the kids will wave their little flags, he'll make a speech and give Israel across the border the finger and it will over and done with in a couple of hours with no harm done. Israel demanding that the visit be cancelled is just acting its usual neighbourhood bully self again.
