Israeli court bars Gazans from jail visits: "Not a basic humantirian need!"

JERUSALEM (AFP) – Israel's Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld a government decision that bars Gaza Strip residents visiting relatives in Israeli jails, saying this is not a "basic humanitarian need."

  1. It is not just the supreme court, it actually vitiates all society in Israel, the occupation, every area becomes tainted. Education, law enforcement, growth, every institution is shaken to the point of questioning its legitimacy because it exists on the foundation of bodies and blood not only from the past but continuously. Not that this is not the legacy of all settler states, but we are talking about Israel – and it is not as far along as the other genocidal processes practiced by older settler states. What that means is that it can be stopped, so the “developed” world is going to have to ask itself, does it want to continue into the 21st century with the same death and destruction, the blood bath of the past, or advance.
