So I met the Angry Arab in person. He should be called the affable Arab. I went to his talk last night and took notes to post here, but he told me it was taped and will be on youtube, so I won't bother. I was disappointed at the turnout, which was about 65 in a room that would have held many more, but I suppose it wasn't advertised widely. I didn't get to talk much to him because he disappeared after the talk. He is shy and sweet. I did bring him some knafa but he told me he had to throw it out because the didn't realize the refrigerator in his hotel room where he kept it wasn't working!
