(My comment: Not to mention that it's also a straw-man argument because no one is saying that guns kill people on their own! They don't crawl out of cabinets and shoot! Of course it takes people to do that. The point is that a young man like Adam Lanza wouldn't have been able to murder 27 in few minutes with his bare hands, with a knife or a club. He would have been stopped before finishing one. Only high-powered assault rifle like the one he had (among others) could allow him to massacre this staggering number of victims in such a short time)
