Anger is a legitimate emotion in the face of injustice. Passive acceptance of evil is not a virtue.

Tribute in Bahrain to those who died fighting for democracy
Hussein Niema is here speaking at a democracy rally organized by political groups in Muqsha, Bahrain. He related the story of his 17-year-old son, Ali, an activist shot & murdered by police last month. Behind Mr. Niema are photos of other democracy activists murdered in the past 19 months who are also being honored at the rally. Like Ali Niema, many were teens & young boys, along with fathers, brothers, uncles. And now they have joined the hundreds of thousands of martyrs all over the world who have given their lives in the fight for human justice & democracy. It is always remarkable to see fighters remembered & honored even decades after they died. Murdered to silence resistance to tyranny, they become the heralds of justice--& they will not rest in peace until justice is served. We can also honor them by supporting the struggle for democracy in Bahrain & demanding the US & all its military henchmen get out of Bahrain. (Photo by Hasan Jamali/AP)
