Aren’t they pretty!? And so in love! Swoon! Betty must be renting the best PR house in all of England to pull off this swindle: pretty people & idealized young love. Now could they be honestly in love? Does this have to be a poised & cynical photo op? Well they could be in love (“Whatever that is,” as papa Chucky said) but all this public display is a pathetic ploy to make mooching off the body politic look attractive. Is it working? Did Madonna’s dancing make Israeli apartheid look good? Does Obama’s smile make US military aggression more attractive? Only to the credulous.
