Anger is a legitimate emotion in the face of injustice. Passive acceptance of evil is not a virtue.

And yet another "unsanctioned" protest in Russia
The caption to this photo in a British newspaper reads, “Riot police detain an opposition supporter during an unsanctioned protest in Moscow.” We can put aside for the moment that since the French Revolution free speech & assembly are considered democratic & human rights by most people (if not most regimes) & that signifying protests as “unsanctioned” means state repression of those rights. In the Soviet era, western media lauded such “unsanctioned” protests to illustrate the evils of communism. Good to know media was just blowing smoke & we haven’t misjudged them all these years as blow hards for the oligarchs. (Photo by Denis Sinyakov/Reuters)
