This is the first I've ever heard of Sarfati, to my regret. Looking around I found he has an entry on wikipedia. Also this article -

The British press seems to prefer the spelling Serfaty.
Jemmy I've been hearing and reading about Serfaty for the past 30 years or more in the French press..He has spent most of his life in King's Hassan's geols, tortured and dehumanised..As for Amran, I've heard of him 'en passant' but do not know much more, I'll check him out.
