    I agree..While some could be undersatood if one considers the context (like the cigarette ads), others like blatant sexism and mostly racism are beyond the pale even for the era.."Why doesn't your mum wash you with ..."..it's so insulting that it hurts.

    These were fun to read. I thought ther most vicious one was the Ivory soap as of the white kid telling the other to asdk her mom to wash her with Ivory so she could be white too.
