AP - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Saturday there will be no peace deal with Israel unless the Jewish state stops settlement construction in areas the Palestinians claim for their future state.

I read somewhere that he is going to consult the Arab League before deciding. That means he's staying.
ReplyDeleteThis is bad. Very bad..After all those vacuous threats he's now consulting!! It was a unique historical opportunity to make the whole world understand, if needed, the nature of this conflict by linking the halt of the peace talks to Israel's expansion and land theft..now that is lost as he's showing signs that he's ready to compromise endlessly and accept much less and less...
