  1. TG,

You asked readers to give opinion about your blog, so here it is: I'm really conflicted. On the one hand I appreciate your many posts (I check them every morning and I link to some on my facebook). On the other hand, these many posts don't give people the time to comment on them. So it is not clear if this blog is a newsfeed (which is very beneficial) or more than that. The posts on art are wonderful and I would like you to keep up, but they are very difficult to take in when mixed with so many political posts (at least this is how I feel). Your blog is called the Angry Arab Comment Section. I suspect that this is what attracts some people who come to view your blog, and it would be great to slake their thirst by linking to the Angry Arab. The Angry Arab (whom I love for the most part) says many outrageous things and it would be good for him to know that some well-meaning people take issue with some of what he says. But this, I believe, needs time to develop and as such you have to be patient with the lack of response to the Angry Arab posts. You could provoke a response through your own comments on the posts. I think that the more you articulate of your opinion the more people will respond. After all, you forced me to comment online when you expressed doubts about the viability of this blog.

I'm conflicted because I like your blog. I will keep visiting it even if you don't change it, but I would like more people to visit it (I'm glade to see the number for flags rising).

  2. Change of subject, for which I apologise.
    Tony Greenstein's blog
    http://azvsas.blogspot.com/
has an article on links between the UK Zionist Federation and the fascist English Defence League (featured below). The ZF's co-chair is threatening to sue Tony. This is a non-starter, but Tony thinks Google may be persuaded to remove his article. He asks that the article be published as widely as possible to prevent its suppression.

  3. I see the Israelis are about their same colonial fascist activity. Using violent swarm techniques to break up legal and non-violent protests. Their (IDF) techniques are done with such force because they are wrong, they cannot stand the reminder of their illegal occupation, theft and murder. The absence of the right to do anything always results in violence and overkill to make up for immoral condition.

  5. Thanks Jemmy..I haven't seen Greenstein's article yet..but it looks like this "association de malfaiteurs" between the English fascists of the EDL and the ZF is not going down smoothly with many British Jews..  I need to take some time to read it..

  6. Here we go..
I don't know if you're aware of the conditions in which this blog came to being..When The Angry Arab closed his comment section, Molly thought that those who were regulars and who were left without a forum to keep the often interesting discussions and jousts going would like to prolong the experience, hence the name of this blog..She was joined later by Yasmin and it wasn't until much later that I joined them..It's true that in its beginnings this blog echoed many of As'ad's posts but slowly it started to reflect our own interests and views..When Yasmin left and Molly reduced significantly her contribution I was left alone to decide on the how and the what to post..I felt that I had to take things further in terms of providing info sources, articles and contents that do not necessarily fit in how the Angry Arab views his blog and I did not think that I had to stick to that..and you're right that the name is now becoming irrelevant and the need to change it pressant..I'll think of a name that reflects more what this blog is about..
As for my own comments, I wish, but I'm facing this problem of not being able to dedicate a lot of time to that as I find it harder and harder to read the contents of what I link to..And yes a solution may well be, posting less..
Now, the art is to keep with Asa'd's tradition when he used to as well as to reflect my own interests. You may know by now that it's what I do, I'm an artist and an art teacher and I find it hard to supress my enthusiasm when I discover new things and feel like sharing them....

  7. Having said that, it's true that As'ad's polemical and provocative nature lends more to readers inputs than the formula I adopted here..So maybe I should balance my own input(via articles and links) with As'ad's "rants", outbursts and insights..
