The clash between Hizbullah and Ahbash in Beirut yesterday (From the Angry Arab)

The armed clash between Hizbullah and Ahbash in Burj Abi Haydar in Beirut was most bizarre and criminal. What Talleyrand once said applies here: "“This is worse than a crime, it's a blunder”." (The quote is often mistakenly attributed to others. In fact, Talleyrand said about about the murder of the Duc d’Enghien by Napoleon I.)

    I'm waiting for Lal Bhujjakar's proclamation, ex cathedra, on whether the Ahbash 'rock' or 'suck'. I'm sure he'll have an opinion, worthless as it is bound to be.

    Anand doesn't read and if he does, a rare event, doesn't understand which explains why he doesn't read in the first place..My guess is that it's autism.. I'm serious..I had a student with symptoms of autism and in many ways ressembled anan..I used to go nuts in the beginning..
