    Having seen the Gaza photo on War in Context it struck me as reminiscent of de La Tour as most of his paintings are candle lit.

    </p><p>“Pulsa Dinura” means “death” or “whip of fire” in Aramaic, it is a known jewish death curse which involves going to a cemetery in the middle of the night and calling on devils to do bad things to the enemies. The curse was spoken out against Yitzhak Rabin, the deceased Prime Minster of Israel, by the extremist and terrorist organization gush emunim before he was murdered by Yigal Amir. An American jewish terrorist organization now seems to have taken the name of the curse, and is sending death threats to the Arab MKs in Israel.
