Israel wants to be special (and kill unarmed civilians)

Here’s the message from Israel. Other nations kill civilians, why can’t we? This is what Israel has become:

    I have a problem with the title: This is what Israel has become:
    I know it's loewenstein's title
    A more appropriate one would be This is what Israel is.

    Yeah, I wonder if these Jewish critics of Israel are of the Uri Avnery Zionist-lite variety.  i wonder for instance, if they adhere to a two-state solution without a ROR.

    In fact, I wonder if we shouldn't investigate this more before putting them on the blog roll just to make sure we don't appear to adhere to a philosophy that compromises Pal. human rights.

    Forgive me VAA for disagreeing. Israelis are a good people who are doing bad things. Israel betrays herself and her inherent goodness by mistreating Palestinians. This is why any pro Israeli person (I am one) needs to put as much pressure as possible on Israelis to do right by the Palestinians, even if that means a one state solution and right of return for Palestinians. No one is harmed worse by Israeli misdeads than Israel itself.

    What the hell is that suppose to mean Yasmin? Are we back to the old "idiot savant," "poseur" and other insults?

    VAA can put up all the "$" signs he wants. I want to facilitate poor people becoming successful and affluent. If that makes me evil, then I suppose I am evil.
