Antony Loewenstein: The smell of Jewish fascism
Ilan Mizrahi has spent 16 years photographing and filming right wing Israeli settlers in the West Bank city of Hebron. His film, Israel: Rise of the Right, looks at the followers of Rabbi Meir Kahane, an American-born rabbi and politician who proposed the mass expulsion of Arabs from Israel before he was assassinated in 1990.
The " red line" not be crossed is formed naturally by the belt. Anything longer is bad form. One, of course, can fiddle with the rules but generally speaking it can happen when one knows them. Well the question is how can you tell if one knows them or not? The answer is simple, people known for knowing them, say the ones who have already a sartorial "reputation" can tweak them. Others are, wrongly or rightly, frowned at.. It's a tough world out there..lol.
It has always been my view that those who wear long ties like this need to point out a tiny apparatus, otherwise one would not know there was anything there :)
On to the subject at hand, I can smell the fascism here and in Israel. There is no mistaking it, a pathway that leads to a pit.
shouldnt it be zionist fascism?
ReplyDeleteoff topic, but i was just curious, tgia, what's the problem with long ties?

Ties worn long, beyond the belt, are widely considered as as no no. There are Freudian connotations if you see what I mean.
