Anger is a legitimate emotion in the face of injustice. Passive acceptance of evil is not a virtue.

Feeling the Hate In Jerusalem on Eve of Obama's Cairo Address
Max Blumenthal writes: On the eve of President Barack Obama’s address to the Muslim world from Cairo, Egypt, I stepped out onto the streets of Jerusalem with my friend Joseph Dana to interview young Israelis and American Jews about their reaction to the speech. We encountered rowdy groups of beer sodden twenty-somethings, many from the United States, and all eager to vent their visceral, even violent hatred of Barack Obama and his policies towards Israel. Usually I offer a brief commentary on my video reports, but this one requires no comment at all. Quite simply, it contains some of the most shocking footage I have ever filmed. Watch it and see if you agree. (Warning: this video contains profanity and material offensive to just about anyone.)
Thanks v(Via Mondoweiss)
We have our white trash too. Jewish trash.

And so people cheat their families and their neighbours, because people are desperate. How come such illegal things have become acceptable?"

Priceless :-E
ReplyDeleteBlumenthal is almost like the Sacha Baron Cohen of the political scene. He gets fools on camera and always gives them enough rope to hang themselves.
We all know Israelis are racist, but this is not proof. You have these drunken morons in every country.
ReplyDeleteThese young people are doing a fine job of representing Israel.
ReplyDeleteHubris -> nemesis.
ReplyDeleteHow dare they speach trash about the One?
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the most shocking videos I have seen in a while.
ReplyDeleteThese schmucks seem way too sure of themselves. The chosen one cares for the Jews and the Israelis and will try to protect them; and yet this is their "gratitude?"
This video should be posted more widely.
EXCERPT FROM COMMENTARY OF VIDEO MAKER
ReplyDelete"Based on our interviews these people were from high socio economic backgrounds and had developed thoughts about current Israeli politics. The question is why more journalists are not covering this story. All you have to do is walk the streets of Jerusalem and you will find dozens of people that harbor the same beliefs. AS A RESIDENT OF JERUSALEM, I CAN SAY THAT THE PEOPLE REPRESENTED IN THIS VIDEO ARE NOT MEMBERS OF A FRINGE GROUP OR SIMPLY DRUNK COLLEGE KIDS. THESE PEOPLE REFLECT THE SENTIMENTS SHARED BY MANY PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY AND THIS CITY. THESE PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES ARE THE CORE OF THE OPPOSITION TO MEANINGFUL PEACE BETWEEN ISRAEL AND HER NEIGHBORS. This is what Obama is up against." (emphasis mine)
Better get it straight, these are racist colonial assholes that have purposefully been nurtured and supported by the USA. Know that Obama does not give a shit and will do nothing to stop this onslaught - look at who he has surrounded himself with, and look at those in both houses who speak highly of and support this garbage.

ReplyDelete:This is a direct result of the falsehood which suggests that the tribe of Israel is a genetic line. It`s not. It`s a tribe. By telling children that they are somehow superior because of genetics (which has nothing to do with choice)..breeds lazy-minded `righteousness`. Why should they have to choose right over wrong when they are already `chosen`? The tribe of Israel is frozen in time, and unfortunately, the frozen moment is of thousands of years ago....riding the coat-tails of righteousness committed millenia ago. The sons of Jacob who threw their brother Joseph in a well...were they the chosen people just because of heritage? No, but I`m sure they claimed the reward just the same as is being done today. To Judah belongs the throne, but to Joseph belongs the scepter.:

"Idiocracy?
ReplyDeleteYup, those are Americans. Sadly, the kids in this video are very representative of most young people in the USA. Loud mouthed, tall talking, definitely not walking the walk, fairly stupid, ignorant, intolerant, and very impatient. Ultimately big crybabies.
See what you have to look forward to in the future!?! Race, religion makes no difference for the proudly ignorant."
Don't worry about it anand. They're still very free market!

"Forty-eight hours later, the video has gone viral, linked from a hundred political blogs, and is circling the internet at a critical velocity on a mission to humiliate the Jewish people."
ReplyDeleteWell, tell me I did not expect this to come from Haaretz (or elsewhere) and I will say I also did not expect the sun to rise in the morning. There is NO WAY you can remove Israel from the mooring of a vicious, murderous colonial enterprise. No matter how hard you try, you cannot pin this on the entire Jewish population for the purpose of "humiliation" because we do not own this debacle, the majority are not moving in this direction - we are moving away from this abomination. Many would rather do their aliyah in an asshole than there.
Now, you can talk about the differences between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem till you are blue in the face, and I can recite how Selma Alabama is different from New York. However, in the process no one would excuse racist lynchings in Selma citing how nice it is in New York - but they would set the law on those racists doing these atrocities. That is NOT what is happening in Israel, the racist activity is in the warp and woof of the nation, it blesses the settlements and their expansion - it is a NATIONAL priority because it is a racist, murdrous, colonial piece of trash.
Also, who is it that was voted into office? Likudnic central and Avigdor Lieberman of Yisrael Beitenu fetid party? Did Jerusalem only vote for these representative and Tel Aviv pass? Are the majority of the Israeli population in Jerusalem and this is how these clowns got in? I think everyone knows the answers to these questions and they tend to make my points iron clad!
When the recent bombing on Gaza that killed over a thousand innocent civilians over 400 being children, which poured phosphorous on their tender flesh to burn it off and several news sources told us over 90% of the population supported this and 80% said it did not go far enough - were they doing their polls in Jerusalem alone?! NO, they were not - this reflected the position of the majority of the population - not just some "drunk young people in Jerusalem." This is the face Israel gets because it deserves it, this colonial murderous racist Apartheid and rapidly approaching illegitimate "nation."
Amen TGIA!
ReplyDeleteBlumenthal's stuff is great.
Ever see this one?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjMRgT5o-Ig
Lets look a little further at this same sentence, this apologetic "pearl" from Haaretz, apparently this author thinks he is terribly clever:
ReplyDelete"Forty-eight hours later, the video has gone viral, linked from a hundred political blogs, and is circling the internet at a critical velocity on a mission to humiliate the Jewish people."
Note, that it is only "political" blogs that would reference this video. As if only the politically inclined would be upset that these individuals called Obama a "nigger," and that they want to "eat watermelon" with him. Like the racism displayed in these statements, and the racist activity against the Palestinians is merely a "political" matter, and therefore can be dismissed with a wave of a hand or the turn of a phrase.
Of course, no one is trying to raise journalism in general from the mire, especially since from major sources it is usually from the cheering galery of the oppressive status quo. Can't you hear all of the worthless arguments for "balance" in this swift boat piece? However, what else can you expect coming from a "country" that uses all of its institutions to cover up and lie about its murderous activity? That has courts that dispossess the owners of property because they are not of the right race or religion? That teaches anything but what happened during the Nakba in the schools of the formative years? That even takes part of its population (self-proclaimed) and makes them no-class citizens?
I mean, what else can you expect?
Blumenthal is cool but he tends to be uber-lefty. His documentary short at the gun show took some cheap shots at people genuinely expressing their right to own and enjoy firearms. Of course, there are yahoos in the crowd, as there are in many crowds. An inordinate amount in the gun one, admittedly, but don't let those retarded gorillas dictate my right and access to firearms to protect myself against an increasingly tyrannical government.

Wow, phloeming said that? Why am I not surprised? I wonder how his portfolio is doing these days? By which I mean, I couldn't care less because I know it's about to tank horrifically and with any luck he'll kill himself once he realizes how many millions of feet of cock he'll have to stroke to survive in a hyperinflationary economy.
ReplyDeleteBut yeah, good point, TGIA. We took the tip of this particularly offensive spear from the zionist hyenas and now the rest of the world gets to see the real Israeli. You could not make a better commercial for Israel.
What's happening to Israel right now is like something out of a fairy tale. They are literally pulling the most brazenly stupid shit, getting desperate in their losing battle for Palestine. They are making classic mistakes, then going on these ridiculously ill-conceived public relations blitzes in which their representatives are literally laughed at by the all-to-knowing crowd who is not going to swallow their bullshit anymore.
I used to, and well still say Israel gone by 2025, and what I mean by that for the stupid amongst us is that the state of Israel as it is known today will be a bad memory by the year 2025. And I am still convinced of that, more than ever, in fact. But at this point, I'm starting to think that I've been way too conservative.
At this point, if Israel lasts beyond 2013 it'll be a miracle from Yahweh indeed. In fact, I will instantly convert to Judaism (and make aliyah) if Israel is still around in some form by 2014.
Huffington Post deleted Blumenthal's video. Why?
"Within a few hours, I received an email from a Huffington Post administrator informing me he had scrubbed my video from the site. “I don't see that it has any real news value,” the administrator told me. “For me it only proves that one can find drunk people willing to say just about anything. Especially drunk, moronic people.” For the first time, the premier clearinghouse for online news and opinions had suppressed one of my posts."

ReplyDeleteWhat on earth are you ranting about?
ReplyDeleteI would say welcome to the club, because there is nothing that makes you more part of the membership than the raw exposure of what is going on in Israel. You can take up most other subjects without a blink or a fuss, but when you take this up the eyes glaze over and those that you think are "progressive" become part of the same old regressive crew. It does not matter if it is the Huffington Post or the "Progressive." A group of chick would-be revolutionaries.
ReplyDeleteI have mentioned this before, and the analogy is not necessarily mine - I think it was voiced by Howard Zinn many years ago. Think of everyone on a moving train, on one side of the isle you have the conservatives, and the other side you have the liberals (those closest to the isle are the moderates) - but the train moves in the same direction. It is when you get off the train and threaten to derail it that all of the willing and quite anesthetized passengers raise a stink. That is what is going on here, plain and simple.

ReplyDeleteJustin Raimondo
http://www.antiwar.com/justin/?articleid=13990
"Taking Ms. Huffington at her word, one can only conclude that, when it comes to Israel's rape of Gaza, the Huffington Post is siding with the rapist. Their "news" coverage of the ongoing devastation is heavily slanted toward the Israelis, with those journalistically unique paragraph-long lead-story headlines never mentioning Palestinian casualties (a number would suffice). When a genuinely antiwar voice is allowed on the site, it is prefaced by an apologia, as our own Jeremy Sapienza reports:
ReplyDelete"Huffington Post was so very kind this week to give space to almost frustratingly moderate Palestinian intellectual Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi. In his well-reasoned article, ‘Palestine's Guernica and the Myths of Israeli Victimhood,' he supplied all the basic facts behind the problems in Palestine. … But what gives with the long disclaimer marring the top of Barghouthi's article?
"HuffPo runs all kinds of commentary from all over the political spectrum (or at least its leftish side), but only those who dare speak against the sainted Israelis seem to require an editorial explanation that resembles an apology.
"Shame on Huffington Post for its disgusting lack of integrity."
Well, let me say it again in regard to this posts title - it is NOT "Jewish racism," it is Zionist racism. Hell, they cannot (or will not) even get the titles right.
ReplyDeleteFrom Justin's article:
ReplyDelete"When Arianna nabbed $25 million from Oak Investment Partners, of Palo Alto, California, she was acquired by a financial network that also has significant investments in the Israeli arms industry – an industry, I might add, directly subsidized and controlled by the Israeli government. For example, Oak Investment has invested in IET/Intelligent Electronics, now morphed into Clickservice Software, an Israeli-based company that makes sophisticated weapons systems and sells them to clients such as "an unnamed Far Eastern country." Oak Investment partner Fred Harman now sits on the Huffington Post's board."
TGIA, I have lived in the US since being an infant. I think I know America better than you imply. Many Americans are not as well informed as they could be; but the vast majority of Americans do not share Flemming's malintent.
ReplyDeleteI have almost never met an American conservative with a detailed knowledge of Israel and Palestine. Americans aren't nearly as interested in the conflict as you think. Most American conservatives that I have discussed this issue with want to end US aid to Israel. Flemming is not a US conservative. I don't know what he is.
TGIA, Israeli Americans have told me about settler thugs. Apparently many Israelis regard them as thugs too. That is why it is wrong for Israelis to dump the thugs on the Palestinians. The Israelis should pay to treat them in mental health clinics out of their own dime.
DJ, you really need to get out. You seem to be amazingly uninformed about America.
ReplyDeleteMany Americans are provincial and less than fully informed. Many Americans get bored to death discussing foreign affairs. They aren't idiots like Flemming, however.
I do get out Anand. It's you who lives in the bubble.
ReplyDeleteWhen was the last time you went out drinking with blue collar America? That's what I thought, NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL.
When is the last time you partied with "homies" from the hood. Same answer:NEVER!!!
Why won't you just say where you live? I'll bet you anything it's a bubble that is not at all representative of American public opinion polls. I guess Manhattan or San Francisco. If so, that simply illustrates my point. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">You </span>need to get out and see America. It surely cannot be an accident that 25% of all the world’s prisoners are incarcerated in American jails (1% of the entire US adult population); that two-thirds of the world’s consumption of antidepressants occurs in the United States; that 24% of the American population say that it’s OK to use violence in the pursuit of one’s goals, 44% support the torture of alleged or suspected terrorists, and 39% want Muslims in the US to be required to carry a religious ID on them at all times (why not just make it a yellow star, and be done with it?); that the country has the greatest percentage of single-person dwellings in the world, the highest homicide rate, the largest military budget (by several orders of magnitude), and the greatest number of square feet of shopping malls on the surface of the planet. The data on ignorance, which I have documented elsewhere, are breathtaking, and Robert Putnam’s description (in Bowling Alone) of the collapse of community, trust, and friendship is one of the saddest things I have ever read. Dialectically, and ironically, American “success” became American ruin; the crash of October 2008 was merely the tip of the iceberg.

I have made many a cross country tour of these United States, as well as traveled all over the world. We certainly have our problems...plenty of them, but it is hardly as dismal as you would like to portray it. The vast majority of people I have met are decent, friendly people. There are thousands of close knit communities and neighborhoods all over the U.S. Millions of Americans volunteer their time to help those in need and millions more donate huge amounts of money to charities. 316 BILLION in private charity a couple of years ago. Even in these hard pressed times, many people who ordinarily donate money but cannot, are now volunteering their time. That hardly describes a stupid, alienated people.
There is one thing I am quite sure of after years of travel, you can pretty much count on running into jerks in most places. I was never treated disrespectfully by any man until I traveled in Middle Eastern countries. I can just hear the howls that would go up from our resident, morally superior beings if I said those men were pretty much representative of the men of the Middle East. It appears that stereotyping is wrong UNLESS it is employed when describing the people of the U.S.
Yes yes, we always get this argument from you vza, you never disappoint with the same humdrum whitewash - it is constant, non-stop. However, you have never stopped to think about how "weath" is accumulated in this country - you need to go on a world wide USA imperialism tour, open your self-blinded eyes. You cannnot continue to disassociate the massive differences in wealth and well being with the rest of the world, bear your forearm muscle and say - good ol' honest work. The entire infrastructure is rife with the blood of the innocent, both foreign and domestic. Or did you think, they just "hate us for our freedoms?" Plus, I can say all of this and still acknowledge the good charitable intent of people, but both foreign and domestic wealth and poverty are not disconnected realities, where one must just yearly (or more) give of their time and talent. The machine has to be stopped, and the false dichotomy exposed, just like you cannot point out Tel Aviv and uproot it from Jerusalem -

Will they willingly stop this? No, they would rather destroy the largess, plow under the fields, demolish the homes, wipe the books - rather than benefit humanity. Give it over to the few, so they can keep their "power" over the many. So, this needs to be seriously grappled with before someone confronts me with the United Way.
So, what is the answer now to the current crisis, given to the people both at home and abroad. Perhaps I should just make this a domestic statement, because the message to the rest already suffering is "just die."
ReplyDelete"The Obama administration is seeking to use its assault on auto workers to set the stage for a sweeping attack on the jobs and living standards of every section of the working class and thereby organize a "recovery" of the US economy based on austerity and poverty for working people and vastly increased profits for the wealthy."

It would also be fun to tatoo those who think of Bush as a liberator, "cruel, nasty and absurd" too. Oh yes that would be fun!
ReplyDeleteIt would also be fun to tatoo the bullshitters who think of Bush as a liberator, "cruel, nasty and absurd" on their asses too. Oh yes that would be fun!
ReplyDeleteDJ And V apparently believe all "true truths" are found on....YouTube! HAHAH Bit is it instead that anyone can find what they like there, and fit it to suit their needs?
ReplyDeleteWhat's REALLY funny is how DJ keeps bashing the US as full of "dummies" --- whom his buddy V is advocating for! You know, those poor ignorant saps with lousy, low paying jobs whom the elite have abused. Yes indeed, those are the people V wants to rise up and join his takedown of the system. V, in his role as union organizer, knows these dummies well, of course, as they make up the majority of his constituency. The "ignorants", most who have just a high school education, and whom DJ loves to deride, are the SAME people V embraces! Can it get any funnier than that!!????
PS: My other web address remains "BANNED". That is the reason my posts are so infrequent, and why I do not step in and defend the disparagement of my name. I guess TGIA likes it that way.
Fleming, you remain a consummate imbecile, which should surprise no one. Second, TGIA is really showing you mercy, because no one defames your "name" more than you do when you post your ignorant screeds here.
ReplyDeleteThird, and to the contrary, most of the people I am talking about can form a core vanguard of over achievers for the defense of the people. While it is true that this general ignorance in the population can be humorous it is nothing but the product of the "wonderful system" you laud and embrace. I also consider you to be a tragic result of this environment. That is because you are just merely part of the ever thinning fat around the midsection of this systemic debacle, making you one of the saddest characters of all. The worse condition in the world befalls those who embrace what appears to be knowledge that is no true knowledge at all.
Dual passport chicken-hawks. When the bullets are flying they're back in New York along with the Netanyahu/Mileikovsky/Mylo family.
ReplyDeleteV consistently relies on personal attacks in support of his "positions". Such behavior could not be less surprising - or more lame.
ReplyDeleteHow many in this "core vanguard of over-achievers" who support you, are there, roughly? 500,000? One million? Three? LOL
So the people are ignorant only because of "the system", they bear no personal responsibility? Weird how the US has the world's greatest and most diverse university system yet the people of the USA are mindless, stupid drones. Frightetning to consider what the situatuon would be if our universities were anything less than the world's greatest!!! Hilarious.
Fleming, you need to decipher the diference between personal attacks and plain facts...lol Anyone who has a lick of sense and is not beholden to this defunct system is a core supporter. Apparently you have little understanding of what can systemically be done to a population. Look at my link under "babies understand abstract" to get a better handle on the subject - you "independent rugged individualist"...LOL

ReplyDeleteOne of the worst types of ego and pride is ego deriving from the thought that "I and my people are smarter than them."
ReplyDeleteThe arrogance of some people astounds me. Yes, some people are less than fully informed in every country. But that does not meen that they are stupid. I find most ordinary Americans, including conservatives, to be intelligent and couteous.
v, everyone has infinite potential. Everyone is "made from the image of God." Interpret this metaphorically if you prefer.
ReplyDeleteWhat we can individually and collectively do is far beyond any of our imaginations.
I didn't come up with those stats Einstein!
ReplyDeleteThey are from Morris Berman and Robert D. Putnam.
Those guys are hardly idiots(google them Einstein).
You don't like their numbers, take it up with them. Leave me out of it. The point of the matter is their data, not me. Deal with that instead of attacking the "poster" of the data! How fucking childish and insane and pathetic. Get help ASAP!!!

ReplyDeleteFleming, V is well aware that the people in this video couldn't or at least don't understand most of the stuff on his blog. Our "ruling elites" don't want an educated, informed, and enlightened populace. They want passive consumers who will leave governance in their oligarchical, aristocratic hands. Uh...I guess you didn't know that huh Einstein?
<span style="">DJ is a mind reader!!! He KNOWS what an amorphous group of "ruling elites: think!!! Even though he doenst know their names. He knows what motivates them, and what they feel in their hearts!!! Amazing! Clearly, no one can compete with such a great intellect!! HAHAHAH</span>
ReplyDelete<span style=""> </span>
<span style="">Are you aware that the US has by far the largest number and most diverse group of top universities in the world? Did you know that the US is #1 country in nobel laureates? You might want to investigate beyond a few statistics before you go around summing up a population of 300 million, eh, Leonardo? </span>
<span style=""> </span>
<span style="">Listen, genius, you can post youtube videos till you are blue in the face. Go look at my four posts under the "baby" thread above. It makes much more sense than yoyur silly "analysis". I know, I know, you will dismiss it because it doesnt contain any youtube videos....LOL LOL</span>
<span style="">The problem is not education levels of people in the US. The problem is people like you who live on the far fringes of society and think anyone who doesnt join them in the "insanity bubble" is ill informed or "an idiot". </span>
<span style=""> </span>
<span style="">"Ruling elites", indeed! Only freakazoid nitwits like you and V use such terms. </span>
