Sultan Al Qassemi
It is said that radical times call for radical thinking, but even by my own standards this is a controversial proposal: perhaps there is merit in an argument for the creation of a second Jewish state – not to replace Israel, but in addition to it, to embarrass it in front of the world.
Interesting proposal, however nothing can be done but the gutting of this current monstrosity that claims to "represent" all Jews. Starting another one will not answer the current plight of the Palestinians, it only poses a fanciful diversion.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone heard of this book, "Samspon Blinded: A Machiavellian Perspective on the Middle East Conflict"?
ReplyDeleteI came across it in a weird way. It's very comprehensive, but in a jokish way. In other words, it's a comprehensive joke.
Here's part of the preface:
Present Israel is doomed. A nation defined in religious
terms cannot survive in a secular state. Religious Jews
despise Western culture and alien religious practices in the
Promised Land; secular Jews dislike outdated religious rites.
Reformism gained strength in America and is poised to invade
Israel, subverting the religion. The socialist state suffocates
enterprising Jews, and welfare programs dilute their work
ethics. Democratic centralism suppresses the strongly
opinionated population. Military expenditures have reached an
economic dead-end.
And here's the final section:
Said’s book advances radical slogans. Never does he suggest anything practical for the Palestinians, nor did he fight Israel or demonstrate. From New York City, he encouraged the Palestinians to stick to their unrealistic demands instead of getting on with their lives under tolerant Israeli administration.
He retained his American citizenship while supporting people who rejoiced at 9/11 and other attacks against America. Said lacks realism because he does not understand history. National borders change constantly. Nations come and go or are dismantled. The balance of power is amoral, and power belongs to those who are willing to pursue their principles ruthlessly, especially when those principles involve no murder or looting but only a desire to reestablish the biblical entity. The Palestinians do not stand a chance. They have no distinctive culture, no attachment to the land, no national or religious identity. They are dispersed, disliked by Jews as sworn enemies and by other Arabs as rascals, brigands, and terrorists. Even if a Palestinian state is created, its Arab neighbors will swallow it up.

BTW, TGIA, thanks for the much nicer formatting. And although I was just getting used to the nice formatting tools of JSKit, I guess I'm glad to be back with plain old simple and reliable HS comments.
ReplyDeleteYes Abraham, a couple of years ago someone directed it to me as the real "answer." Some people have nothing better to do than write nonsense in regard to its content. It is deeply racist from the outset all the way through, pretty much a fantasy land - I never got past the introduction.
ReplyDeleteSuch as -
"Modern Jews were given a chance to return, but flouted the wise biblical instructions on the scope of their state. Jews did not drive away the hostile aliens and the Arabs fought back."
"Indeed, in the Ten Commandments, fundamental to modern Jewish, Christian, and Muslim cultures, the religious prescriptions precede the prohibition of murder. Killing enemies in war is not prohibited."
"1 Moses ordered the execution of 3,000 people, 0.5% of those who joined Exodus, for worshipping the golden calf. He suppressed the Apis bull’ cult to consolidate a
nation. Many other nations fought on ideological grounds."
Etc.
It was also forwarded to me as something that would be revelatory but upon a quick skim it quickly revealed itself to be the equivalent of gutter detritus. No wonder it's been banned from Amazon.
ReplyDeleteIt was banned from amazon?
ReplyDeleteThanks Abe for the link concerning the book. I see it as a Jewish "Mein Kampf"!
ReplyDeleteI'll make a post.

ReplyDeleteExcerpts...
"Israel as Middle Eastern empire
Israel, possibly the fourth strongest military power in the world,[9] is wasting Israel Defense Forces' potential and paying for it without using it. Israel Defense Forces could, however, be put to Israel's profit. Israel could establish herself as Middle Eastern empire undergirded by military might of Israel Defense Forces. Israel can seize territory from the Arabs (and perhaps others) or convert it into tribute-paying protectorates, prohibited from arming or mobilizing under the threat of Israeli retribution. Hordes of fellahin, though armed, would be powerless against an Israel with secure borders.
Israel may find the natural resources of failed African states attractive. Israel need only occupy resource-rich areas, fence them off, and send Israeli companies to exploit them. The Africans receive no benefits from their resources, which are plundered by corrupt politicians or tribal strongmen. To save face, Israel might use a part of the proceeds for humanitarian purposes among the local population which would be better off under such an arrangement with Israel than they are now. The West tries to suppress the black market of diamonds, ostensibly to suffocate the terrorists financially—nicely protecting De Beers’ monopoly. Israeli occupation, by this logic, would extinguish many tribal wars."
Yup!
Actually Amazon didn't take out reviews of the book because...I found reviews on Amazons!!

It's certainly Machiavellian. It could also be a book written to smear Jews. The ideas it proffers are so ridiculous (steal resources of failed African states by taking over parts of them?) that I'm not sure how anyone is supposed to take this seriously.
ReplyDeleteIf you find any white spremacist websites (i.e. the other places where fleming hangs out) discussing this then you know it's a shill.
I'm not sure how anyone is supposed to take this seriously.

I'm afraid you're wrong Abe. The guy who's a leader of a party, couldn't know which one, has a huge following! His ideas are becoming more mainstream by the day.I googled his book and had a look at his site. Many Israelis see his propositions an exit/solution to the situation in which they see themselves as stuck! His book is a Jewish "Mein Kampf", that's for sure. Israelis, make no mistake, are ready for a "lebensraum"!
Lebensraum (help·info) (German for "habitat" or literally "living space") served as a major motivation for Nazi Germany's territorial aggression. In his book Mein Kampf, Adolf Hitler detailed his belief that the German people needed Lebensraum (for a Grossdeutschland, land, and raw materials), and that it should be taken in the East. It was the stated policy of the Nazis to kill, deport, Germanize or enslave the Polish, and later also Russian and other Slavic populations, and to repopulate the land with reinrassig Germanic peoples. The entire urban population was to be exterminated by starvation, thus creating an agricultural surplus to feed Germany and allowing their replacement by a German upper class.
Wake up people! The monster is in the house!!

Thanks Abe...Sometimes I regret JS-kit as well for certain features but simplicity is always preferable IMHO. BTW, the system now is not Haloscan but simply blogger comment feature.
